Very heavy pressed glass butter or candy dish with domed lid.
The Imperial Glass trademark is in the center of the lower piece.
This is clear pressed glass with a fluted edge.
I suspect this vintage piece was originally used to hold a round ball of butter
or butter pats.
Without the lid it would make a very upscale ash tray.
Lovely quality vintage glass. Thick and Heavy.
The diameter of the base is 7.25 inches with a depth of 1.25 inches.
The height of the dish with the domed lid is 5.75 inches.
