Ethical sourcing is becoming a thing. I'm not being negative towards anybody - anywhere, but let's face it, the great majority of the world's mines are in less-than-developed areas. Some of these areas have zero child labor laws, or any labor laws for that matter. The mining of some of these rocks/crystals is hard, back-breaking work. Combine a very young & hungry work force with certain less-than-scrupulous mine owners and bad things are bound to happen.
Fortunately, these individuals are the exception and not the rule. The names are out there and easy to identify for those of us in the business.
I promise to deal only with legitimate, conscientious mine owners and sell only ethically sourced items.
There's
one more benefit to buying directly from the mine: Once the crystals come out of the mine they come "as-is" straight to me. I separate, clean, rinse, weigh and identify them for sale. This means nobody has repaired or altered them in anyway. This allows me to provide pure crystals as they were found in nature.
I
have many years in brick & mortar and Internet sales. I've been supplying retail shops for many years as well. Now I've discovered an opportunity to pass on my experience and supply unique items, at a very good value, to customers I was never able to reach in the past.

Chlorite in Quartz comes from many regions across the globe. Bright Green solid phantoms in water clear quartz are not very common, but highly sought after! Chlorite Quartz is usually found in alpine deposits, which also are known for producing odd habits and formations.
Pakistan boasts a rich array of minerals, many of which have yet to be uncovered. High in the Himalayas, miners attempt insane mountaineering to get to gem pegmatites. Known worldwide first and foremost for stunning Aquamarine specimens, Pakistan regularly surprises the mineral community with combo minerals and new finds all the time. It also hosts a large amount of the pegmatite minerals that are found in Afghanistan, as many of these finds cross the border.

We ship worldwide! Shipping occurs five to six days a week from Asheville, North Carolina, USA. Our shipping carriers are USPS and UPS, and our standard options are as follows:
Domestic orders under 1 pound = USPS First Class
Domestic orders over 1 pound = USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground, our choice.
Domestic orders over 0 (after sales discounts) = USPS with Signature Confirmation
International orders = UPS Worldwide Economy, Standard, or Expedited, or USPS First Class or Priority, our choice.
If you pay for a specific service, we will use that service instead of our standard.
Please help yourself keep shipping cost down by purchasing multiple items at one time.  We offer discounts for combined shipping.  If Ebay does not combine your shipping, please try again from a desktop browser.  If Ebay still does not combine your shipping, please contact us.
Make sure your ADDRESS IS CORRECT AND COMPLETE.  If your package arrives at someone else’s address because you gave us an incorrect address, we are NOT responsible for replacing your lost package.  If we receive the package returned to us, you are responsible for the second shipping charge and will be billed before we can reship your package to the correct address.  If we do not receive the package returned to us, you may place another order.
If you have had difficulty receiving packages in the past, you may want to upgrade to USPS Priority Mail, which offers you claim protection if your package goes missing. This protection is not offered with most of our standard services.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
UPS Worldwide Economy is the most economic service, and it is reliable.  We ship your package to their facility in New York, USA, where they then forward it to your destination country.  Then they pass the parcel to your local post or other third party for distribution.  Tracking does not begin when your package leaves our facility.  It begins once it departs the NY facility, which is usually 2-5 days after we process your order.  If your tracking number does not show any movement on your package, please be patient.  Your package is most certainly on it’s way.  If you want more detailed tracking, you may upgrade your shipping service.
On average, UPS Worldwide Economy takes 5-12 days, UPS Worldwide Expedited takes 2-5 days, USPS First Class takes 7-21 days, and USPS Priority takes 6-10 days for packages to arrive at their final destination.  HOWEVER, sometimes these services can have delays, and we have experienced on rare occasions it can take 8 weeks or longer, depending on your country and your customs office.  Be patient and please do not leave negative or neutral feedback without first contacting us to resolve the issue.  We understand you need to be protected, and we want you to feel safe shopping with us.  Please allow ample time for mail to arrive before you take action.  Thank you!
International customers may have to pay duty and/or VAT taxes upon receipt of the item.  We will do our best to ensure that you do not incur duty, but we are not responsible for any taxation that you may incur.
RETURN POLICY
The stone business for us is a labor of love. We are elated that it is our job to find proper homes for the stones that seek us out. We want YOU to be happy with what you received from Throwin' Stones and the transaction that you experienced. This for us is an integral part of doing business with these fascinating natural products. If you are not happy with what you receive, please let us know immediately upon delivery.
All items are sold as is but exchanges or returns are accepted within 30 days of receiving items if they are not as described. Buyer pays return shipping unless we have arranged otherwise, and we are not responsible for shipping carrier loss or damage. Items must be carefully packed with all original packaging.
If the stone does not "feel right" to you, we ask that you pay return shipping to get it back to us so we can find its proper home. Please DO NOT select "item not as described" if you file a return for this reason.
We reserve the right to decide if it will be either an exchange or a return that we can offer until we receive the item(s) being returned. For exchanges and returns, we reserve the right to retain a restocking fee. The fee will be 10% of the item amount, withheld from the refund amount.
At this time, we are unable to accept returns for international orders.
