Offered for your consideration is a Vintage Imperial Carnival Glass [ in Electric Purple ] Dish or Plate with a Quilted Diamond and Pansy Pattern.  The Base Color is Amethyst with Beautiful Hues on the Front of the Plate;  Marigold, Blues, Oranges, and Purples.  It is in Good Pre-Owned Condition with No Chips or Cracks.   It is "not" deep".  It has a Small Foot There are No Noted Makers Marks - This Piece is attributed to Imperial Glass Co. ** According to Research, Imperial Produced Carnival Glass from 1909 to around the Last 1920s.

Sawtooth design was made first by the Cambridge Factors and at the Sandwich Works in the 1860's.  Collectors sometimes call it "Deep" or "Mitre" Diamond.  Today, items in the ORIGINAL design and particularly this elegant Celery Holder are difficult to find, at any price.  This authentic reproduction is from a New England "genuine" and as it was first presented it is now available in attractive quality colors and water-clear crystal.  (per description on card).
